labTRACK ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication)
• Lab data: Chemical inventory, orders, requests, and other data you enter into the app
• Usage data: Basic app usage information to improve the service

2. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the labTRACK service
• To send important account emails (verification, password reset)
• To improve the app based on usage patterns
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties
• We do NOT use your data for advertising

3. AI invoice scanning

When you use the invoice scanning feature, images and documents you upload are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. These are processed in real-time and not stored by Anthropic for training purposes. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in Google's cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data
